Veneer Dentistry

When one thinks of veneer dentistry, the terms porcelain veneers, porcelain laminates, or composite veneers come to mind. These terms differentiate between the different forms of veneers a person can select. In general, however, veneer dentistry is used to improve the aesthetic appearance of a person’s teeth. This improvement can have innumerable benefits such as boost in esteem, opening of career opportunities, and an overall better sense of health. All this items can hinder a person from achieving an attractive smile, but with the help of veneer dentistry, now this does not need to be the case.

Will you or your loved one benefit from a more beautiful smile created through veneer dentistry? Our veneer dentistry experts and programs will give you attractive teeth and a reason to smile.

In selecting veneer dentistry, the individual must decide what and how many teeth will need attention. In most cases, veneers are expected to last ten to fifteen years, which makes them a decent investment in the end.

Some commonly addressed problems in veneer dentistry include:

  • Spaced teeth
  • Cracked, chipped, or grooved teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Uneven teeth
  • Worn enamel on the teeth

The process of applying veneers to the teeth is relatively unobtrusive and painless. Some mild tooth re-sculpting may need to occur to ensure a solid bond is formed between the veneer and the tooth, but other than that, veneers are simply applied to a tooth. The bond is formed through special dental resins developed through years of veneer dentistry, and is strong enough to allow almost unrestricted eating habits once the veneers have bonded completely. Basic tooth upkeep is still necessary when wearing veneers; however, this is a small task when compared to the benefits of a beautiful, healthy new smile. The veneers will not fade or discolor over time, and if properly cared for by the patients, no more chipping, cracked, or unevenness will prove visible either.
